Pedrick Earns Weekly MAC Honor

CMU senior named MAC Gymnast of the Week for second time this season
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan's Denelle Pedrick has been named the Mid-American Conference Gymnast of the Week.
Pedrick, a senior from Wilcox, Saskatchewan, Can., placed first with a 39.525 score in the all-around during a nonconference dual meet at Southern Utah. She tied for first on vault (9.900) and on floor exercise (9.925), placed second on balance beam (9.900) and finished fifth on uneven parallel bars (9.800).
Pedrick, the reigning MAC Gymnast of the Year, matched her career high scores on beam, floor and in the all-around.
It marks the second time this season and the fourth time in her career that Pedrick has earned the league's gymnast of the week award.
