DeMers Named MAC Gymnast of the Week For 4th Time

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan's Hannah DeMers was named the Mid-American Conference Gymnast of the Week for her performance in the Chippewas' victory in their home quad on Sunday.
DeMers, a sophomore from Canton, posted a career-high 39.525 in winning the all-around. She also placed first on the floor exercise with a career-best 9.950 and tied for first on uneven parallel bars with a 9.900.
It marks the fourth time this season that DeMers has earned the MAC Gymnast of the Week Award.
DeMers' strong performance helped her finish the season with the MAC's top national qualifying scores in three events, bars, floor and all-around.
