Gymnastics Recognized For Academic Success

The Central Michigan gymnastics team was recognized for its academic success by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA).
The squad posted a 3.718 team grade point average, the highest mark in program history, over the past year.
Sixteen members of the team were recognized as WCGA Scholastic All-Americans. They are Adriana Bustelo, Elizabeth Buttle, Elizabeth Cesarone, Sierra DeMarinis, Hannah DeMers, Nora Fettinger, Audriana Hammond, Brenna Hauser, Hallie Hornbacher, Kennedy Johnson, Savana Kotas, Katie Kowalski, Amber Mueller, Morgan Tong, Ashley Veglucci and Sydney Williams.
Buttle, DeMarinis, Fettinger, Hammond and Kotas each posted a GPA of 4.00.
To receive WCGA academic honors, an individual must have a 3.5 overall GPA or a 3.5 GPA for 2020-21.
