DeMers Named Gymnast Of The Week

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan's Hannah DeMers was named the Mid-American Conference Gymnast of the Week.
DeMers, a junior from Canton, placed second in the all around with a 39.350 score during a quad meet on Friday with Illinois and Georgia at Kentucky.
DeMers tied for third on vault (9.850), tied for sixth on balance beam (9.825), tied for ninth on floor exercise (9.850), and tied for 12th on bars (9.825). Her vault score tied her season high.
DeMers has the highest all around national qualifying score among MAC gymnasts and is ranked 30th nationally in the all around.
