Chippewa Field Hockey Fall to No. 5 Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Central Michigan Field Hockey fell 0-3 to the No. 5 ranked Louisville Cardinals on Sunday afternoon. This is the second time this season the Chippewas have faced the No. 5 ranked team in the country after facing Iowa on September 8th, when they were ranked first in the nation.
The Chippewas were led by senior goalkeeper, Katie Maxim who recorded 17 saves in the contest playing 55 minutes in goal. Maja Halasz recorded one save in her five minutes of play and allowed one goal. Pauline Klep also recorded a defensive save for the Chippewas.
Next, Central Michigan will host Ohio for a MAC contest against the Bobcats. The game is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Friday, October 15th.
