Field Hockey Loses In First of the Weekend

Muncie, Ind.— Central Michigan Field Hockey started it's two game weekend off today with a 4-0 loss against the Ball State Cardinals.

The Chippewas were able to put up 10 shots with five being on goal. Five Chippewas recorded a shot with Kate Biglin leading the pack with three, one being on goal. Pauline Klep and Kaitlyn Bowker each recorded two shots.

Central Michigan was able to tally four penalty corners today.
Â
Ball State recorded 24 shots with 13 landing on goal. Maja Halasz spent the entirety of the game in cage for the Chippewas recording nine saves on the day.

Central Michigan will continue it's weekend on Sunday (1 p.m.) in East Lansing as they take on the Michigan State Spartans.
