Eight Chippewa Gymnasts Earn Academic All-MAC Honors

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The Mid-American Conference announced the 2024 Gymnastics Academic All-MAC teams on Friday, which includes eight Chippewa student-athletes.
To qualify for the honor, a gymnastics student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of their team's completed contests that season.
The eight CMU student-athletes, including their year, major and grade-point average:
Luciana Alvarado-Reid, Sophomore, Undeclared, 3.69
Adriana Bustelo, Senior, Exercise Science: Kinesiology, 3.73
Elizabeth Buttle, Senior, Spanish, 3.86
Elizabeth Cesarone, Senior, General Management, 3.62
Hallie Hornbacher, Senior, Political Science, 3.75
Amber Mueller, Senior, Exercise Science: Kinesiology, 3.87
Quinn Skrupa, Junior, Exercise Science: Kinesiology, 3.43
Ashley Veglucci, Graduate Student, Doctor of Physical Therapy, 3.80
