Gymnastics Team GPA ranked 19th Nationally, 16 Gymnasts earn WCGA All-America Honors

CMU ranked 19th with a 3.7425 team GPA.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Sixteen of Central Michigan Gymnastics' 2025 roster of 20 gymnasts have earned 2025 Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-America honors, the association announced on Monday afternoon.
Earning WCGA Scholastic All-America honors are junior Luciana Alvarado-Reid, senior Avah Bootz, freshman Olivia Dittmer, senior Alexis Garcia, freshman Abby Izaks, sophomore Gabrielle Johnson, senior Lia Kmieciak, senior Ariana Light, freshman Alisia Murray, sophomore Sophia Reddy, freshman Kaitlyn Schwab, sophomore Samantha Shannon, senior Quinn Skrupa, freshman Ava Wellmeier, freshman Maylee Wendle and freshman Zoë Zimmerman.
The Chippewas ranked 19th in grade-point average (GPA), with a team GPA of 3.7425 and 80% of CMU gymnasts receiving the honor. Freshmen Maylee Wendle and Zoë Zimmerman maintained a perfect 4.0 in the 2024-25 academic year.
Kmieciak is now a four-time honoree while Alvarado-Reid, Bootz and Garcia have been honored for three consecutive years. It is the second year for Johnson, Light, Reddy, Shannon and Skrupa.
