Alicia Govannicci joined the Central Michigan field hockey program as a graduate assistant in August, 2019.
In 2019, CMU’s Alice O’Hagan earned a spot on the All-Mid-American Conference Second Team. Academically, three Chippewas were named a Scholar of Distinction by the NFHCA, the organization named 14 Chippewas to its National Academic Squad, CMU received the National Academic Team Award for the second-consecutive season, and six CMU field hockey student-athletes earned Academic All-MAC honors.
Govannicci served as an assistant coach at Immaculata (Pa.) University in 2018 and has coached at the club, high school and camp levels since 2012.
She was a three-time all-conference player at Rider from 2010-13, helping lead the Broncs to four league championships.
