“Why CMU?”: “Choosing to attend Central Michigan University felt like the right decision for me for several meaningful reasons. One of the biggest factors was how close it is to home, allowing me to stay connected with my support system while still growing independently. At the same time, the university’s rich history and tradition made me want to be part of something bigger than myself.
“My decision is also deeply personal because of my family connection—my brother graduated from Central Michigan, which makes continuing that legacy especially important to me. My former head coach, Shonda Sanders, played there and did really great things for the program and even earned a place in the banners. Knowing that I was her first recruit makes this opportunity feel like a full-circle moment in my journey.
“Another major reason I chose CMU is the coaching staff. I trust Coach K and truly believe in everything she has accomplished. I am confident that under her guidance, I can continue to develop my skills and reach the next level in my career. At the same time, I am motivated to contribute to the program’s success and help bring another winning season back to Central Michigan.”
