Â
The Longhorns are holding opponents to 58.4 points per game, which ranks 18th nationally. They average 67.1 points per.

Â
Experience
The Longhorns, who play in the Big 12, are likely to pose another stiff test for the Chippewas, who have played teams from the Big Ten (Minnesota) and Big East (DePaul) this season.
Â
The Chippewas did not win either of those games, but both have helped in their growth and development, coach Keno Davis said.
Â
"The game against Minnesota was necessary for us to get better and you saw that growth at DePaul," Davis said. "Although it wasn't a 40-minute execution or effort at DePaul, you saw us get better. We've got a lot of road games coming up … that'll help prepare us for MAC play."
Â
Next
CMU will travel to Pennsylvania for a nonconference game with Robert Morris on Tuesday, Dec. 17 (7 p.m.). Robert Morris is 3-8 and is coming off a 64-59 win over Florida Gulf Coast.
Â
The Chippewas' game at Texas is the second of four consecutive road games for CMU leading up to the MAC opener at home on Saturday, Jan. 4 against Miami (Ohio).
