Chippewas fresh off of drubbing Western Michigan
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The closer they get to Cleveland, the more important they become.
The Central Michigan women's basketball team goes to Buffalo on Saturday for a Mid-American Conference game that features two of the league's very best teams and three of its premier players in CMU's Presley Hudson and Reyna Frost, and Buffalo's Cierra Dillard.
WHERE THEY STAND
The Chippewas are 17-6 and lead the MAC West at 8-3 in conference play. They hold a one-game lead over second-place Toledo, which is 7-4 in league play.
The Bulls are one of three teams crowded near the top of the MAC East. Buffalo, 16-6 overall, is 8-3 in MAC play. East-leading Miami (Ohio) is 9-2 in the league, while second-place Ohio is 9-3.
