Eleven Chippewas posted a 3.90 GPA or better, every eligible MAC Championship point-scorer made the list
CLEVELAND — The Mid-American Conference announced its Academic All-MAC listing for track and field Wednesday, which included 25 members of the Central Michigan program.
A student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average and competed in 50 percent of scheduled contests/competition weekends to be eligible for Academic All-MAC. Freshmen and first-year transfers are ineligible.
Eleven Chippewas made the cut with ease through a GPA of 3.90 or better, three of whom did so in graduate programs. Every CMU point scorer from the 2023 MAC Outdoor Championships—aside from one freshman—made the list as well.
