Admission to the event is free to all. There will be no live coverage (broadcast/livestream, live stats or social media) provided outside of McGuirk Arena.
Nine Chippewas return from the 2024-25 season, which saw the program return to the Mid-American Conference Championship tournament for the first time since 2021. Sophomores Madi Morson (Canton, Mich. / Salem) and Ayanna-Sarai Darrington (Lexington, Ky. / Frederick Douglass) lead the group as MAC All-Freshman selections from a year ago, Morson named Second Team All-MAC and MAC Freshman of the Year.
Other notable returners from last season's rotation: seniors Taylor Anderson (South Lyon, Mich. / East) and Demetria Prewitt (Madison, Wis. / La Follette), junior Taylor Johnson (Cannon Falls, Minn. / Cannon Falls) and sophomore Jayda Mosley (Cincinnati, Ohio / Purcell Marian).
