Alvarado-Reid, Kmieciak, Schwab Earn All-MAC Honors

Alvarado-Reid and Kmieciak earn first team for all-around and bars; Schwab named second team for bars.
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Three Central Michigan Gymnasts have earned All-MAC honors, the Mid-American Conference announced on Tuesday.
Senior Luciana Alvarado-Reid was named First Team All-MAC as an all-arounder and graduate student Lia Kmieciak earned First Team All-MAC honors for the uneven bars. Sophomore Kaitlyn Schwab earned Second Team All-MAC honors for the uneven bars.
Alvarado-Reid is ranked first in the MAC in the all-around with a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 39.345. This is her third All-MAC honor as she earned first team in 2025 for all-around and second team in 2024. The Cartago, Costa Rica native has won eight all-around titles during the 2026 season and her career total now stands at 26.
Kmieciak is ranked first in the MAC on bars with an NQS of 9.905. This is her second All-MAC honor; she earned second team in 2025 for bars. The graduate student won four bars titles in the 2026 season, bringing her career total to 10.
This is Schwab's first All-MAC honor. The sophomore is ranked sixth in the MAC on bars with an NQS of 9.835.
